This small online class limited to five students will explore art from diverse cultures that are often overlooked in a traditional school setting. A deep appreciation for artwork from cultures very different than our own will be cultivated. As we look at the beauty and power of art from unexpected sources, we will create our own portfolio of expressive art. Using simple materials, students will develop skills in drawing, painting, collage and mixed media. On Friday of this week, we will share and celebrate the array of artwork from each student in the class.
