We are happy to welcome you to Fort Worden. Below are some pre-arrival details for you and your guests to know. Note that you will be contacted by phone within one week of arrival to review details of your stay and confirm any outstanding payments to allow for a touch-less check-in.
The Front Desk is located at the Commons, 210 Battery Way, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Please call 360.344.4400 x 555 if you should need assistance from the Fort Worden Front Desk.
Only one person per party accommodated per check-in.
Due to current mandates, we are not extending early check-ins or late check-outs at this time.
Keys must be returned to the Front Desk Key Drop by 11:15 AM to avoid $100.00 lost key charge.
Based on availability and the historic charm of our accommodations, we will do our best to accommodate your preferred housing.
If you are staying in a house with a fireplace we do sell Duralogs for you to use for $6 a piece. Please let us know if you’d like to add to your reservation in advance or ask Front Desk upon arrival.

Guests are asked to clean any used dishware prior to departure.
Some of our regular in-house amenities have been suspended including daily housekeeping services and drop-off services as we comply with all State and Federal safety precautions and procedures. Please contact our Front Desk agent in advance to schedule any special requests or contactless replenishment
Also note gas/propane grills are allowed at least 25 feet from any building, so please refrain from use on the porches. Fort Worden vacation rentals and property is a tent-free zone and does not allow overnight camping, with the exception of identified Fort Worden Park campsites (Book online at https://parks.state.wa.us/)
Please let a Front Desk Agent know if you are bringing a pet or need an Aerobed prior to arrival based on availability. Up to (2) pets are allowed in designated pet friendly accommodations with a $30 per day, per pet fee, exclusive of tax.
Pets are not allowed inside any of Fort Worden’s venues with the exception of licensed service dogs. A deep cleaning fee of up to $500 will be applied if evidence of a pet is found in a non-pet friendly accommodation or venue.

SPECIAL COVID NOTICE; WAIVER/RELEASE:
Fort Worden has been working with state and local government and health officials to plan for reopening of our facilities consistent with public health orders and guidance related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We ask for your cooperation during your stay at Fort Worden to help us protect the health and safety of guests, visitors, community and staff.
Guests must wear face coverings consistent with state and local public health orders. In addition, guests must comply with all posted signs and instructions from staff.
For your protection and protection of others, Fort Worden is collecting contact information from guests to allow for notification if a guest or staff member may have been exposed to COVID-19. (There is, however, no right of notification, as resources for contact tracing are limited.) Your contact information may be shared with state and local public health officials, unless you opt out. If you want to opt out of providing your contact information for these purposes, please send an email to email@example.com, with the subject line “Opt Out of Contact Tracing” and provide your reservation number and the dates of your stay.
While Fort Worden is taking numerous precautions to protect the health and safety of our guests and staff, there remains a risk of contracting the virus. Guests stay in our accommodations and use other indoor and outdoor facilities of their own will and at their own risk. By accepting these terms], guests knowingly waive and release Fort Worden (including its officers, directors, employees, and agents) from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, including those caused by negligence, in any way related to COVID-19. This waiver and release is binding on the reservation holder, guests, guests’ guardians, assigns, heirs, administrators, and executors.
