Event Details

Here’s an opportunity to have fun exploring the art of repoussé, an ancient method of decorating sheets of metal with intricately tooled, raised designs. In this workshop, Nonie Gaines will teach you everything you need to know to create a beautiful repoussé. User-friendly heavy gauge foil, tools, and all other non-toxic materials are provided by the instructor. All levels welcome, ages 15 to adult!

Nonie Gaines holds a BFA and is a Certified Art Instructor, award-winning art teacher, and artist. She won 2014 Honorable Mention and 2015 Best in Show in the P.T. Wearable Art Show and has shown her work at Northwind Art Grover Gallery in downtown Port Townsend. Her deep experience working with all ages and abilities makes learning with her exciting and fun.
