Here’s an opportunity for dedicated artists of all levels — ages 15 to adult — to develop their skills and refine their vision. In this supportive environment, Port Townsend’s iconic painter Max Grover works beside you, offering guidance and inspiration as you create your art. The studio art practice format is all about camaraderie and community. Bring an ongoing art project or try something new. This workshop is designed for both beginning and more experienced artists. The Northwind Art School, in Building 306 at Fort Worden State Park, is a place filled with art supplies and open minds. 

As a founder of the Port Townsend School of the Arts, now the Northwind Art School, Max Grover believes a strong arts education organization is vital to maintain a vibrant arts community.
