Join Michele Soderstrom as she shares techniques and methods for seeing form, light, and shadow, during four figure drawing sessions. In this course for ages 16 to adult, Michele’s gentle guidance will facilitate each participant’s personal style and process. Clothed model sessions will start with a series of short gestural drawings, and then progress to longer poses toward the middle and end of the sessions.

For those who wish to join us without instruction, you may do your thing during the sessions. Feel free to bring earbuds if you would rather not listen to quiet instruction.

Michele has a BA in Visual Arts Teaching, with a minor in Studio Art from Central Washington University. She is a Port Townsend High School art teacher as well as an award-winning artist with her equine art. She has taught creativity through art since 2008. She paints and sells her own work in galleries around the region.
