In “Inspired by Herbs,” an art workshop, teaching artist Leila Block introduces you to the local herbs — and serves as your guide as you work with them on an art project. Participants (age 15 to adult) will select a bushel of herbs and work with them to receive creative inspiration, to create art in any medium they prefer. Everyone gets to play with color, shape, smell, taste, symbology and meaning, and learn practices that can also be applied when working at home! Any and all mediums are welcome. Use the school’s supplies and/or your own favorites from home.
