SATURDAYS, MAY 30, JUNE 6, and JUNE 13, 10:30AM – 12PM
This 3-week workshop is for all types of artists – whether they work representational, abstract or non-objective. It is also for all types of mediums – including watercolor, acrylic, gouache, encaustic, oil, collage or mixed media as well as 3-D art.
The emphasis is on searching for inner voice, a unique style, and personal content. Participants explore personal, unique aspects of their work by becoming more conscious of their inner self. Each session will consist of the instructor talking and sharing images.
Through exercises and activities assigned by Donna, they will dig deeper into themselves between weekly sessions. With emphasizing certain elements and principles of art, and choosing more personal content, their work will become more unique and have deeper meaning. By the end of the workshop the artist will have a stronger understanding of their strengths and a good direction they can continue in their own studios.
This workshop will be available through Zoom technology. After registration you will receive log in information and other details via email. You will need to download the free Zoom application (https://zoom.us) prior to the class. A stable internet connection provides the best experience.
There are 10 openings available for a private 30-minute critique (via Zoom) to be scheduled individually between sessions of this class. Donna will send out a list of questions and the participant will email her some images of their work ahead of time. There is an additional $30 fee for this option.
