The Employee Engagement Committee at Fort Worden is collecting canned goods and winter clothing for our Inaugural Clothing and Food Drive! We plan to make this an annual event!
You can find donation boxes in three locations:
The Commons by the Front Desk, Building 200 and Building 298 (Goddard College and HR Office).
We will be taking donations and making them available to employees and the public first, then we will be donating to several local shelters. We will have winter coats, clothing and shoes available for both men and women. There will be an open house in McCurdy Pavilion on December 19th 9 AM to Noon. Everyone is welcome.
Canned goods needed: ANY! We will take anything that is not open and not expired!
Clothing: Any winter coats, sweaters or children’s clothing. PLEASE wash clothing before donating! No stained, ripped or un-usable clothing please!
PETS: We are also collecting for a local shelter. They need canned pet food, pet bedding, toys, cat litter, peanut butter and treats.
