SATURDAY & SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22-23, 10 AM – 4 PM

Bring in black and white photos from family albums (or convert a favorite color photo to balck and white) and capture them with acrylic paint in this weekend workshop designed for beginners. Any subject is welcome. This class will learn the basics of acrylic painting including priming and finishing surfaces, brush techniques, planning and sketching for your composition and color mixing. This class is particularly suited for anyone wanting to study value and color. Julie will show you how to mix “blacks” and get a handle on contrast!

Julie provides all the materials and will have you ready to embark on a kit of your own after this weekend.
