Looking for an artistic new year’s ritual? Join teaching artist Leila Block for an evening of creating your own personalized tarot card. Participants will pull a card from the deck, intuitively interpret it, and create a rendition to carry with them through the coming year.

In this workshop, you will interpret your card using your instinctive capabilities; studying its color, shape, symbol and personal meaning. Using this intuition, you will then make a tarot card of your own, with any medium you prefer. The school is equipped with paper, an assortment of paint, and pens/pencils. Bring your own materials if you want to work in other media. 

Leila Block is a versatile mixed media artist and teacher, exploring a wide range of mediums and sounds. Her works in ceramics and mixed media are in private collections across the United States and Europe.
