“Lush Language” celebrates four emerging artists from Port Townsend, Quilcene and Seattle. Their art, ranging from tapestries to large-scale works made with house paint and gold leaf, is on view at Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water St., Port Townsend. The artists are Tininha Silva, Becca Fuhrman, Claire Ragland and Isabel Elena Pérez; all create art ablaze with color and symbolism.

The gallery is open 12-5 PM Thursdays through Mondays; in addition, on the first Saturdays of the month (May 4 and June 1), Art Walk means conversation and refreshments from 5-8 PM.
