SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15, NOON-4 PM

This class will provide an in-depth review of the Lightroom Development module. This module provides a powerful set of non-destructive photo-editing tools. We will go over all the tools describing what they do, how they work together and how to use them get the most out of your images.

We will look at a range of images and explain how the Lightroom histogram panel can be used to advantage (starting with how to read a histogram). We will cover how the localized adjustment tools can be used for non-global corrections, the use of the Basic panel tools with emphasis on the White Balance, Tone and Presence sections.

The class will use the current Lightroom Classic CC desktop version. There will be a brief review of using Lightroom Mobile, which provides essentially the same editing tools on your phone or tablet.

While there are no prerequisites for this course, a basic familiarity with Lightroom will be helpful.

While bringing a laptop with Lightroom installed is preferred, a full set of notes will be provided along with the a copy of the presentation.
