This fun Block-printed Bandanas workshop, with farmer and teaching artist Lydia Vadopalas, covers all of the basics of block printing. Participants age 12 to adult get to learn carving, making images into blocks, transferring images, and printing on fabric. The theme for this course will be animals, so come ready with fun critter-related ideas! Lydia will assist participants with practicing carving with some basic designs, then move into printing practice. This is a delightful class for parents and youngsters. Participants will then design and carve more intricate blocks to be printed on a bandana. Students will come away with two printed bandanas and carved blocks to make more at home!
