PLEASE NOTE: This workshop will take place at Curly Girl Art Studio, 889 53rd St., Port Townsend.

A fabulous introduction to collage, this Afternoon Art Adventure at Curly Girl Art Studio uses a variety of paper ephemera (printed matter) to create a small collage.  Using a quilting iron, we will adhere the paper items to small boards (approx. 5” x 7”) with aromatic (with no additional scent) melted beeswax. This process is absolutely addicting!

This workshop is for anyone interested in a delightful art experience, anyone just getting started with collage, or for an experienced artist who wants to experience a fun art event.

SUPPLY FEE: $25, payable to Curly Girl Art Studio at the beginning of the workshop. This supply fee covers:

• A wide choice of paper ephemera (printed matter) such as tissue paper, decorative napkins, maps, text pages, stamps, magazine images, envelopes and more!

• Wood panels, approximately 5” x 7”, use one or more, depending on your pace.

• Hanging hardware

• Aprons provided.

• Tea, Coffee, Water, Healthy Snacks
