The Fort Worden Lifelong Learning Center Public Development Authority (FWPDA) will be holding a Special Board Meeting on Monday, March 15th, 2021. The purpose of the meeting is to have a joint discussion with the Port Townsend City Council during the Council’s March 15th business meeting. The City Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., and the FWPDA Board will call its special meeting to order when the joint discussion begins, which may be at or about 6:30 p.m. The FWPDA Special Board Meeting will commence after the City Council addresses other matters listed on their Agenda before the joint discussion topic.
The joint discussion topic is the FWPDA’s restructuring and proposed City Ordinance 3262 amending Chapter 2.84 of the Port Townsend Municipal Code. This is for discussion only. The March 15th meeting is a remote public meeting in accordance with the “Stay Home” emergency proclamation issued by Governor Jay Inslee on March 23, 2020 and subsequently extended. Council and FWPDA board members will be participating by teleconference.
