Favorite places in Fort Worden invite observation of nature while you reflect upon poetry or your own thoughts for this new on-site watercolor painting and sketching class. Each day begins at the PTSA classroom for the brief daily focus. From there we depart, heading to the trail by foot or by car, depending on our destination.

You will be provided with a map of our daily sites. Choose supplies that work for you. Supplies can be simple and still be very effective. A suggested supply list will be provided. PTSA also has some watercolor paints and brushes that can be used during this week.

Everyone will work at their own level and Linda will provide instruction and hints tailored to the individual student. The class is scheduled during the Writers Workshop with the intent of inspiring people who are influenced by the spoken word and image.

If you are traveling light, use your iPad Pro for plein air painting and drawing without using filters.

Please e-mail Linda for a complete supplies list: linda.okazaki@gmail.com

NOTE: Olympic Art & Office and Quimper Mercantile offer 10% discount for PTSA students.
