Reservation Terms & Conditions:

Cancellations: Fort Worden Hospitality has a 45 Day Cancellation Policy. All guests may cancel their reservation free of charge until 45 days before arrival. All guests will be charged for their deposit paid, plus tax, if they cancel under 45 days before arrival.

Deposits: All sale and special rate offers require a full pre-payment at time of booking. Standard rate reservations require a deposit of one-night stay plus taxes and fees.

Any outstanding balances on vacation rental reservations are charged to the card on file 72 hours prior to arrival.

SALE RATES & SPECIAL OFFERS & HOLIDAYS: Save 15% or more! – Rate requires full pre-payment at time of booking. Can not be applied to previous reservations, dorms or group bookings. Valid for time period indicated on offer and any other stated booking policies.

Pets: We love dogs and certainly welcome them at Fort Worden but ONLY in our pet-friendly accommodations with a $30 pet fee. Please note our website indicates which rooms are pet friendly. Reach out directly before booking if should you have any questions on the pet-friendly rentals. Should you choose to bring a pet into a non-pet-friendly room, we will assess a $500 cleaning fee.

Smoking: We are a non-smoking property. Should you choose to smoke in your room, we will assess a $500 cleaning fee.

Your credit card will be kept on file to guarantee your reservation.

Booking Policies for Guests who booked prior to February 14, 2022

Full Pre-Payment: Required at time of booking; Non-refundable rate (Full payment inclusive of taxes). Payments made for reservations using the Sale Rate or Special Offers are non-refundable immediately upon booking.

Cancellation Policy: None.

STANDARD RATE:

Deposit Required: Required at time of booking. Credit Card deposit required (first night’s room rate inclusive of taxes).  Remaining balance due 72 hours prior to arrival or as contacted by our agent in advance to adhere to contact free COVID compliance.

Cancellation Policy:  Guests may cancel reservations made with the Standard Rate up to 90 days prior to arrival and receive a full refund of the deposit taken at the time of booking. Cancellations made 89 days or less prior to arrival will incur a Cancellation Fee equal to the full amount of the deposit (first night rate plus taxes). Rate becomes non-refundable 72 hours prior to arrival.

 

Vacation Rental and Accommodations Policies

Check-In is at 4 PM / Check-Out is at 11 am

Payment Policy:

A credit card is required at check-in. There will be a $50 per night of stay hold placed on your card for incidentals, which will be released upon checkout. Please note that debit cards will not release the hold up to 5 business days after checkout. Cash payment is accepted at checkout with a valid credit card hold.

Taxes and Fees:

All reservations are subject to local and state taxes and fees, currently 9.1% sales tax, 2% lodging tax, 10% plus sales tax historical preservation fee per night. Subject to change based on state and local regulations.

Pet Policy:

Pets can only be accommodated in a limited number of houses – notification must be given at the time of the reservation. Please be aware that there is a $30 plus tax per night, per pet fee added to your nightly rate, and a limit of 2 pets per accommodation. Pets are not allowed inside any of Fort Worden’s venues with the exception of licensed service dogs. A deep cleaning fee of up to $500 will be applied if evidence of a pet is found in a non-pet friendly accommodation or venue.

Parking:

Parking is complimentary and available through the property, except for parking lots located at the beach and trailheads where there are Washington State Park signs indicating each vehicle parking in these locations will need to display a Discover Pass or a Fort Worden Vehicle pass. Guests with overnight accommodations will be provided two complimentary Fort Worden Discover Vehicle passes upon check-in. Additional parking passes can be purchase for $15 per pass, plus tax.

Smoking Policy:

All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking and vaping are prohibited within 25 feet of all building entrances, windows and ventilation intakes. Once accommodation is vacated and it is noticeable that guest smoked, the group will be billed up to $500 per unit effected. Marijuana is prohibited in all State Parks.

Additional Policies:

Gas/propane grills are allowed at least 25 feet from any building in the Fort Worden campus area, so please refrain for use on the porches. Also, the campus area is a tent-free zone and does not allow overnight camping. Camping at Fort Worden is administered by Washington State Parks at the designated Inner Campgroup and Beach Campground areas.

Additional Services and Fees:

• Aerobeds can be rented for $40 per night, plus tax.
• Additional linen refreshes can be request for $35 per bedroom, plus tax. This refresh includes changing bed sheets.
• Cleaning fees and damage fees may apply if vacation rentals are not left as they were found. For example, if you leave the kitchen very dirty and don’t clean your cookware then you can potentially be charged for an additional cleaning fee.
• A fee will be accessed if you lose your house key ($100 per key, plus tax) or if you request an extra key ($10 per key, plus tax).

Note, Towel Tidies are currently not being performed as due to COVID protocol housekeeping is not entering in to guest’s vacation rental and dorms. When we resume this service, we will note on our website. Towel Tidies typically include trash pick up and towel change for those towels on the floor.

SPECIAL COVID NOTICE; WAIVER/RELEASE: 

Fort Worden Hospitality closely monitors public health orders and guidance related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).  We ask for your cooperation during your stay at Fort Worden to help us protect the health and safety of guests, visitors, community and staff. 

Guests must wear face coverings consistent with state and local public health orders.  In addition, guests must comply with all posted signs and instructions from staff.

While Fort Worden Hospitality is taking numerous precautions to protect the health and safety of our guests and staff, there remains a risk of contracting the virus.  Guests stay in our accommodations and use other indoor and outdoor facilities of their own will and at their own risk.  By accepting these terms, guests knowingly waive and release Fort Worden Hospitality (including its officers, directors, employees, and agents) from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, including those caused by negligence, in any way related to COVID-19.  This waiver and release are binding on the reservation holder, guests, guests’ guardians, assigns, heirs, administrators, and executors.
