At the heart of the 90-acre Fort Worden Campus lies the Lifelong Learning Center. Here, the juxtaposition of diverse, specialized education set in an environment steeped in natural beauty and rich history offers an unparalleled experience in the Pacific Northwest.
Fifteen partner organizations offer more than 1,500 programs each year, utilizing Fort Worden’s 56,000+ sq. ft. of meeting facilities. A variety of former military barracks and houses offer program participants a wide array of overnight accommodations.. Miles of shoreline and forested trails provide a place for individual renewal and transformation enhanced by events and activities presented year-round at the Lifelong Learning Center.
Home to intensive experiences and educational opportunities in the arts, crafts, humanities, environmental and marine sciences, historic preservation and education, and sustainable food programs, the Fort Worden is perfectly equipped to engage participants of all ages and cultures.
